A five day grace period for the sale of residential property comes into effect from the day you receive the signed contract.
The cooling-off period is still valid even if a representative receives the contract on your behalf, and can only be disputed by the seller (or their agent) if they can prove the contract was delivered outside of this period.
After 5pm on the fifth business day, you will be obligated to complete the contract according to its terms, so make sure you are well-informed, feeling confident, and act quicktly!
